one door closes, another opens

alas, I have been caught by the University Center Parking Police and can no longer park illegally to visit all my loverlies at UCI, and I’m too poor to buy a parking permit, so my afterschool adventures have come to an end.

As sad as I am to not spend the vast majority of my Tue/Thu with the UCI crew, I’ve decided to invest my time in something productive - CHEER! I’ve decided to take advantage of level 5’s unlimited tumbling and attending tumbling 3 days a week.

Yes, this does mean that I will be spending 7 and a half hours minimum at the gym every week, which is slighty ridiculous, but hopefully the results of such will be super awesome. It feels good to invest my time in something productive, in something that benefits me and the entire team.

Hopefully I’ll stick to this regiment =P

serious business.

Yes, it’s true.

This is a blog about cheerleading.

You may think that it seems silly, but cheer has always been more than a sport to me - It’s become a passion. This year will be my 11th year as a cheerleader, and I’m excited to say this won’t be my last. Competitive cheerleading is a sport AND a performance, what more could you ask for? Mastering the art of destroying your sense of self preservation and teaching your body to do most unnatural tasks is a challenge, and it’s so much fun! =D

Anyways, now I have a place to babble about my secret life as a cheerleader because no one else wants to hear about it, YAY!
